I am andrew haslam

Having hosted my first radio show at age 13, I found myself falling deeply in love with the medium that is radio. The following years saw me push through education, till I was finally free to run with my love of radio.

In April 2021 I launched the regional radio station "Peak Radio", where I looked after the station's programme as well as hosted the weekday drivetime show for over a year.

I'm now available as a freelance presenter (see voicetracker hub). All my remote-live or voice-tracking work can be completed in my broadcast standard home studio.

Before launching Peak Radio, I spent years working with community and internet radio stations in numerous roles, from working on the board of directors, to studio builds, to providing team training, all of course whilst growing my presenting abilities.

Experience

Since 2015, Andrew has worked with and for a selection of stations, in presenting, production and programme roles. From online stations to community stations with reach across local areas to regional DAB stations, to stations overseas.

passionately  creating
content  for the past 7+ years, Andrew Haslam

I've always made things, growing up I would set up a theatre in my living room, be a dj at a disco I'd set up in the kitchen, or a presenter and camera op for a tv studio in my bedroom with my dads old tape camcorder. My passion for making things never stopped, infact it grew.

In 2015 I created a youtube channel, where a young 13 y/o me made vlogs showcasing the things I got up to, completing all the filming, editing and uploading myself. Whilst that channel is "unfortunately lost to time", it was what really expedited my obsession of creating content.

I went on to start working with my first radio station in late 2015, and I fell in love instantly. Both with creating great (not that it was very good at that point in time) radio, as well as photo & video content for the social media and websites belonging to the station.

Since then I've worked and volunteered for multiple more stations, working in a range of roles, giving me a chance to really home my craft, and to this day I work with radio, video, photography and live event experiences.
